Ensuring that your ceremony is heard
For
most ceremonies a PA system is a must. Unless your ceremony is very
small I will bring and use one of my two wireless PA systems. Both will
amplify
the sound sufficiently for over 200 people to hear every word even in
an outdoor situation, but one accommodates more microphones than the
other.
While I have a voice that projects well, using a microphone means that
I can use my natural speaking voice, and that your guests will be able
to hear your promises.
My PA systems have adjustable volume so that your intimate words will
not be booming through the microphone. You probably won't even notice
the amplification - but your guests will.
Even where the venue provides a microphone I bring my own system
because being able to use a head or lapel microphone allows more
flexibility in positioning than does a single microphone on a stand.
