Eloping ... Elopements
I get that you have chosen to elope because you are
focused on your relationship, on being together, and
that it is therefore important to you that your
elopement ceremony is romantic and that it truly
celebrates your relationship in a warm and personal way.
Eloping in the 21st century is very different from
the 'ladder at the window and then off to a
hole-in-the-wall ceremony' experience of the 19th and
20th centuries. It is less about keeping secrets
(although there is no reason why your elopement can't be
a secret) than about having a wedding that is very
personal and stress-free. So you can elope in high style
to a luxury hotel or lodge, or marry in jeans and
sandals in your backyard - or anything in between. You
can elope on your own, bring your witnesses with you, or
have a small group of family and friends at your
elopement wedding to celebrate with you. You can elope
from another city, state or country, or you can have an
elopement ceremony in your own backyard.
I offer you the choice of an
Uniquely Personal
Micro-Wedding Ceremony or a
Love & Legals
Micro-Wedding Ceremony
An Uniquely Personal Micro-Wedding Ceremony is the ideal
choice for couples who want a very personal and private
ceremony. With only five people required to be present
(the two of you, two adult witnesses and me as your
celebrant) there is no stress, no pressure. You can
relax and be yourselves. Or you can include a few
more people on your guest list if you are eloping with
friends (up to 20).
The ceremony will be heartfelt and individual, and based
on your wishes. It won't be overly long, but
neither is it a 5 minute quickie. Parts of the ceremony
can be unscripted, allowing for spontaneity.
