It is less about keeping secrets (although there is no reason why your elopement can't be a secret) than about having a wedding that is very personal and stress-free. So you can elope in high style to a luxury hotel or lodge, or marry in jeans and sandals in your backyard - or anything in between. You can elope on your own, bring your witnesses with you, or have a small group of family and friends at your elopement wedding to celebrate with you. You can elope from another city, state or country, or you can have an elopement ceremony in your own backyard.

With only five people required to be present (the two of you, two adult witnesses and me as your celebrant) there is no stress, no pressure. You can relax and be yourselves.  Or you can include a few more people on your guest list if you are eloping with friends (up to 20).

The ceremony will be heartfelt and individual, and based on your wishes.  It won't be overly long, but neither is it a 5 minute quickie. Parts of the ceremony can be unscripted, allowing for spontaneity.
